The countdown to the 10th season of the AFLW continues, with the AFL today announcing the schedule for Practice Matches and Match Simulation Trainings in the lead up to Round 1, which kicks off between Collingwood and Carlton on Thursday 14 August at IKON Park.

These sessions will give fans the opportunity to see Collingwood’s seven new recruits in the black and white for the first time, including 2024 number one draft pick Ash Centra.

Free to attend for all fans, Collingwood will play Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Sunday 3 August at 2:00pm AEST (1:30pm local).

It will be just the second time the two sides have clashed in the history of the AFLW, while also provide a chance for the South Australian Magpie Army to see the AFLW side in action in 2025.

The match will also be live streamed on Collingwoodfc.com.au.

The Magpies will also take part in a Match Simulation Training session with the Bombers at Windy Hill on Saturday 26 July at 9:30am AEST, where the two Clubs will agree on format, number of players, game length, and number of breaks ahead of the session.
