Midfield duo Nick Daicos and Ned Long have been named in the 2025 22Under22 squad following outstanding home and away seasons.

The pair of 22-year-olds hit the ground running with impressive early season form and were major reasons behind the Pies' blistering start to the year.

Daicos has carried where he left off from a runners up finish in last year's Brownlow Medal to average 31 disposals to this point in the season.

Long has been the breakout star of 2025 for the black and white, fighting hard for his place in the side and proving his case with some career-best performances.

He has averaged 18 disposals and seven tackles from 20 games so far this season in his second year at the Club.

If selected, it will be Long's maiden 22Under22 nod, while Daicos is going for a fourth consecutive selection, having made the side in every season he has been in the league since 2022.

The 2024 Copeland Trophy winner has also been Captain of the past two iterations of the team and would join the Western Bulldogs' Marcus Bontempelli as the only player to be named Captain three times if chosen again.

The 22 Under 22 Team is entirely fan voted, with the initial 40-player squad whittled down to 18 players on the field, plus four on the interchange.

Pies fans are encouraged to cast their votes for Daicos and Long to recognise the pair's brilliant form in 2025. Cast your vote here!
