AFLW Senior Coach Sam Wright has made one change to his side ahead of Collingwood’s clash against Sydney, with Vice-Captain Jordy Allen set to make her return.
Allen, who also missed both of Collingwood’s pre-season matches, will be a welcomed inclusion in the Pies’ backline as they face the Swans at Victoria Park for the first time on Saturday afternoon.
Second-year Pie Annie Lee has been omitted for the match and will be alongside Eliza James and Alana Porter as emergencies.
The Swans, who have won all four of their games so far this season, will be a welcomed test for the side.
Collingwood’s latest hit out at Victoria Park was in their Round 3 clash with the undefeated Melbourne outfit, losing by a narrow four points in an exciting sign of development of Wright’s young Pies.
Saturday will also be a cause for celebration for off-season recruit Airlie Runnalls, with the winger set to notch 50 AFLW games this weekend.
The lifelong Collingwood supporter has played every game in 2025 so far, with the 27-year-old quickly being recognised as a key contributor on the wings alongside Sarah Rowe in the midfield.
Collingwood fans can watch the game live on Fox Footy and kayosports.com.au, with the first bounce at 1:05pm (AEST).
