Collingwood welcomes the appointment of President Barry Carp to the AFLW Competition Committee ahead of the 2026 season.
Carp joined the Collingwood Board in 2021 and became Club President in December last year.
During this time, the Board has overseen a period of significant growth and progress across all areas of Collingwood.
Barry Carp said he looked forward to contributing to the future of women’s football.
“It’s a privilege to join the AFLW Competition Committee at such a pivotal time for the game and play a small role in shaping the future of women’s football,” Carp said.
“Ten seasons in, the AFLW has grown tremendously, and everyone at Collingwood is committed to supporting its next phase – ensuring the competition remains progressive and competitive for decades to come.
“I look forward to working alongside the committee members to guide the competition’s evolution and build on the legacy created by the pioneers of women’s football.”
