Collingwood defender Annie Lee will miss tomorrow’s Round 11 game against the Gold Coast SUNS after injuring her knee at training yesterday.

Scans today confirmed the 22-year-old sustained a minor fracture to her left knee. Lee will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025 AFLW home-and-away season.

EGM Women’s Football Jess Burger said:

“We are incredibly disappointed for Annie. She has shown great resilience and has completed a power of work to return to the field this season after a significant knee injury last year,” Burger said.

“Annie will be well supported as we assess her next steps and have great confidence that she will attack her recovery in the coming weeks.”

Alana Porter will come into the team for tomorrow’s match against the Gold Coast SUNS, with Charlotte Taylor travelling as the emergency.
