Collingwood are pleased to confirm 12 players have re-signed to the Club’s VFL program for the upcoming season.

Among those continuing on are brothers Harry and Max Mahoney, with the Mansfield duo preparing for their second season together in the black and white.

Older brother Harry has been a consistent contributor for the Pies since joining the program in 2024. Kicking a VFL career-high three goals in the side’s Round 7 win over the Bullants, the half-forward went on to add 11 goals across his next 10 outings.

Max made an immediate impact in his maiden VFL campaign, with the 19-year-old missing just two games in 2025. Splitting his time between the wing and half-back, Max averaged 13.4 disposals and 3.5 marks and will look to carry that form into 2026.

Popular midfielder Josh Browne will also remain in black and white, with the 23-year-old quickly endearing himself to the Magpie faithful through his grit at the contest and flair in front of goal, finishing with nine goals under his belt.

The West Australian featured in 11 games in 2025, averaging 19.2 disposals before a shoulder injury in the Pies’ Round 13 clash against Sandringham brought an early end to his season.

Brady Grey is set to line up again in 2026, with the former Fremantle Docker providing valuable experience to Collingwood’s developing VFL list during his first year at the club.

Making 16 appearances in 2025, Grey was unmissable in his long black-and-white sleeves as he averaged 20.3 disposals in his first season with Collingwood.

Grey truly stood out in the side’s Round 17 clash with Geelong, where he finished with 37 disposals in the Pies’ 15-point win.

Hard running forward Harrison Kennedy has also recommitted to the Pies, set to embark on his third year with the VFL program.

Since coming across from the Northern Bullants in 2024, Kennedy has been a consistent performer for the black and white. Snagging seven goals last season while averaging 12.8 disposals.

Former AFL-listed Hawk Josh Bennetts will again feature for the side, with the half-forward flanker playing 11 games in 2025 after an injury-interrupted start to his first season at Victoria Park.

After making his Collingwood VFL debut in Round 6, defender Ben De Bolfo enjoyed a consistent finish to his debut campaign, recording eight appearances in 2025 and continuing to establish himself as a strong on-field presence heading into 2026.

Former Brisbane Lions Academy member Liam Hude is another to continue with the program, with the 21-year-old kicking 13 goals from 11 appearances last season.

Defender Ryan Eyre has also committed for another year after playing eight games in his first season at the club, while fellow youngsters Ned Byrne and Remy MacLean have likewise recommitted.

Rounding out the inclusions is 19-year-old Tadhg McCarthy, who made his VFL debut in Collingwood’s Round 19 clash with Williamstown last season. The older brother of 2025 AFL draftee Zac McCarthy, Tadhg’s return opens the door to the exciting prospect of the siblings lining up together in 2026.
