Collingwood’s Head of High Performance Jarrod Wade has provided an injury and health update ahead of Collingwood’s Round 4 game against the Brisbane Lions on Thursday night at the Gabba.

Unavailable:

Harry DeMattia

Harry DeMattia has sustained a mild back stress reaction and will undergo another week of rest before starting a rehab program. A return to play timeline will be established following his de-loading period.

Darcy Moore

Captain Darcy Moore sustained a low-grade hamstring strain during Friday night’s game against the GWS Giants, with scans also showing an inflamed bursa behind his knee. Moore is expected to be available for selection in three to four weeks.

Scott Pendlebury

Scott Pendlebury experienced Achilles tightness in Friday night’s game against GWS. Scans have cleared Pendlebury of any damage. In line with Pendlebury’s management plan, he will not travel to take on the Lions in Brisbane on Thursday night. He is expected to be available for Collingwood’s Round 5 game against Fremantle at Gather Round.
