Hailing from Tasmania, Mihocek has been on the cusp of winning a place on an AFL list for the last two years. The 25-year-old has spent time in the VFL with Werribee and Port Melbourne and played an integral role in the Borough’s Grand Final victory over Richmond in September.

Did you know?

  • Mihocek comes from a footballing family. His father, Jack, spent three years on Essendon’s list between 1976 and 1978.
  • The defender hails from the Tasmanian town of Cooee. He becomes the fourth Collingwood player from the Cooee Football Club – after Ron Kingston (1950-59), John Greening (1968-76) and Graeme Shepard (1970, 1974-75).
