Collingwood have made four changes ahead of their VFL clash with Werribee, with a quartet of AFL-listed players set to appear on Saturday.
After sustaining a hamstring injury in the Club’s AFL Anzac Day clash with Essendon, forward Tim Membrey will make his return to the field in what will be his first VFL game since 2024.
Fellow forward Jack Buller will join Membrey, who has been on AFL duties for the previous two weeks.
Defender Wil Parker will also return alongside Lachie Sullivan, who makes his return after sustaining a concussion in Collingwood’s Round 7 VFL clash against Box Hill.
Injured VFL co-captain Brady Grey will miss, as too will Harry Kennedy and Liam Hude.
2025 draftee Zac McCarthy rounds out the omissions, with the forward being managed against Werribee.
Hude, Kennedy, Luke Quaynor, Jack Marks, Hamish Collins and Charlie McCartin will serve as emergencies for the clash.
VFL Senior Coach Matt Lokan’s men will be looking to bounce back from their loss on the road against Sydney which saw young gun Sam Swadling act as a shining light as he accumulated a season-high 40 disposals at Tramway Oval.
Collingwood’s Round 9 VFL clash with Werribee will be streamed live and free on Collingwoodfc.com.au from 11am AEST.
