Collingwood have locked in their VFL side to take on Frankston at Kinetic Stadium on Friday night, with Angus Anderson and Joel Cochran headlining the inclusions.

Anderson, who made his AFL debut in Round 5, will be a welcomed return to VFL Senior Coach Matt Lokan’s midfield coming fresh off a bye.

Second-year Pie Cochran will also make his return, with the defender recovering from an AC joint injury sustained in late-April.

Mid-season draftee Harrison Coe has also been named, with the ruckman being a late out in the Pies’ Round 11 VFL win over Casey a fortnight ago.

VFL-listed recruit Nick Thompson rounds out the inclusions, with the former Bendigo Pioneer set to play his first VFL game on Friday night.

After a strong VFL performance in the side’s win against Casey a fortnight ago which saw him accumulated 33 disposals and 13 clearances, Ned Long has been recalled to the AFL side’s clash with Port Adelaide on Saturday night.

Jake Watts, Luke Quaynor and Hamish Collins have also been omitted and will serve as emergencies alongside VFL co-captain Brady Grey, Josiah Landy, Liam Hude and Robert Varcoe.

With last year’s clash with Frankston a sellout, the Magpie Army is encouraged to pre-purchase their tickets and taking advantage of the member offer of $5 tickets when presenting their Collingwood membership at the gate. Tickets can be purchased here.

Friday’s match will also be streamed live and free on Collingwoodfc.com.au from 7:30pm AEST.
