While the Championship Division's season came to an end, the Community side secured a place in the Preliminary Final to keep its finals hopes alive.

The Magpies’ Championship season ended on Sunday after Hawthorn proved too strong in their Elimination Final clash.
The Hawks made a fast start - scoring consecutive goals early in the opening quarter to put Collingwood on the back foot.
Despite being unable to make scoreboard impact, the Pies continued to keep the pressure on until the final siren displaying the resilience that defined their 2026 campaign.
It was another strong year for Wheelchair Football with players, staff and volunteers continuing to build on the long-running success of the Club’s Community Foundation program.

Community Division
The Community Division produced a clinical performance to keep its finals campaign alive, defeating Hawthorn by 136 points in its highest-scoring game of the season.
Matthew Blunt, Tim O’Connor and Arnold Razon worked efficiently together to create scoring opportunities for key forwards Jack Elliott and Andrew Paddle at will.
Paddle starred with a career-high 13-goal haul, leading the team in a relentless Magpies attack.
Elliott (eight goals) was also in sensational form as the pair combined for 21 majors.
Defender Kylie Prestwich continued to show improvement, keeping the Hawks’ forward line in lockdown for the entirety of the match.
The team inspired its Championship teammates spectating on the sidelines with teamwork, pressure and ball movement to secure an emphatic victory.
