Midfielder Bri Davey is set to play her first AFLW game in 682 days in the Club’s first home game of the season when they host Fremantle at Victoria Park on Sunday.

Davey, who missed the 2025 season due to an ankle and foot injury, will be a welcomed inclusion to the Pies’ midfield on Sunday.

Collingwood also welcome back vice-captain Jordy Allen, who has overcome a calf complaint sustained in the pre-season.

Defender-turned-forward Kalinda Howarth will also make her return along with ruck Imogen Barnett.

Second-year Irish cross-coder Kellyann Hogan will come in for her fifth AFLW game, while fellow cross-coder Maisie Nankivell will make her Club debut as announced on Thursday.

Coming out of the side is leader Lucy Cronin, who was unable to overcome a shoulder complaint.

Charlotte Brewer, Amy Smith, Zara Neuwirth, Dom Carbone and Sabrina Frederick have been omitted, with Smith, Neuwirth and Carbone to feature in the Club’s VFLW clash on Saturday morning against North Melbourne-Werribee.

Brewer, Neuwirth and Carbone have been named as the emergencies for Sunday’s home opener.

Sunday will see the AFLW program return to their traditional home of Victoria Park for the first time in 2026, which also coincides with Magpie Army Week.

To celebrate the occasion, Collingwood AFLW members can redeem a free pie from the Gourmet Pie food truck, with members to be sent a QR code on Sunday morning to redeem.

Collingwood’s Round 2 clash with Fremantle will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy from 12:30pm AEST.
