Collingwood’s Executive General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger has provided an injury and health update ahead of Collingwood’s Round 3 game against Hawthorn at Victoria Park on Sunday afternoon. 
 
NEW UPDATES: 

Mattea Breed 
Mattea Breed experienced abdominal discomfort following the Pies’ Round 2 match. Breed underwent an appendectomy and will be unavailable as she recovers. 
Further timeline of her return will be determined in due course.  
 
Maisie Nankivell 
Maisie Nankivell sustained a hamstring injury during the last quarter of the side’s Round 2 match.  
She has commenced her rehabilitation journey this week and will look to return to football in eight to twelve weeks. 
 
ASSESS:

Lucy Cronin 
Lucy Cronin will be assessed this week following her shoulder incident in Round 1. 
 
Lauren Butler 
Lauren Butler has entered the final stages of her calf rehabilitation program and will reintegrate into full training this week. She will be assessed on her availability for the weekend's game.

Eliza James 
Eliza James is progressing with her calf rehabilitation and will look to become available in the coming weeks.
