AFLW Leader Lucy Cronin will return from shoulder injury in Sunday’s AFLW clash with Carlton.

Cronin, who has missed the last two rounds after sustaining a shoulder injury in the Collingwood’s Round 1 clash at IKON Park, will make her return to the venue when the Pies faces the in-form Blues at their home venue.

The third-year Pie is among three inclusions, with last year’s father-daughter selection Violet Patterson to return after serving a one-match suspension and subsequently missing Collingwood’s clash with Hawthorn last week.

Eliza James rounds out the Pies’ ins, with the 22-year-old to play her first game this season.

The forward impressed in the pre-season, kicking two goals in Collingwood’s pre-season match against West Coast before a calf injury delayed her start to the season.

Defender Lauren Butler and winger Kellyann Hogan both come out of the side due to injury, while Sarah Rowe has been managed.

Liv Lewis, Georgia Knight and Zara Neuwirth will serve as emergencies for the clash.

Sunday will also serve as the second round of AFLW Indigenous Round, where the Pies will again wear the Indigenous jumper designed by Noongar Yamatji artist Jed Bennell.

Collingwood’s clash with Carlton will be broadcast live and free on the Seven Network from 3pm AEST on Sunday.
