Collingwood will farewell Development Coach Nathan Murphy during the off-season who has decided to relocate his family and pursue other opportunities interstate.

A 2023 AFL Premiership player, Murphy transitioned into coaching following his retirement and has since worked within the development team at the Pies.

Throughout 2026, Murphy worked closely with the backline group, focusing on the younger defenders to help guide and develop their craft.

EGM of Football Charlie Gardiner thanked Murphy for his contribution to the Club.

“Nathan is an outstanding person and has played a valuable role within our coaching team in recent times, working closely with our young players to support their growth and development,” Gardiner said.

“We will miss ‘Murph’s’ energy and enthusiasm around the Club and we wish him, Rose and Romee all the best for the move north.”
