Collingwood Forward Jamie Elliott has returned to running as he continues his rehabilitation from an ACL rupture.
A significant milestone in Jamie Elliott's road back has arrived, with the veteran forward returning to running for the first time since May 22 - 118 days after his 2026 AFL season ended prematurely.
The 34-year-old suffered the injury in the dying stages of Collingwood's Round 11 clash against West Coast at the MCG, when his knee buckled as he landed while attempting to take a mark.

The fan-favourite has kicked 364 goals in his 230 AFL games, and plans to grow both tallies in 2027.
"It's one of the more challenging rehab periods that I've had to face," Elliott said.
"The things that motivate me, or drive me to come back - I'm ultra competitive. I want to get back out there and compete against the best. Another thing is, I want to get back and play at the highest level in front of massive crowds.
"When I do have those dark times, I do think back to those awesome memories I've got of my playing days... and I just think 'why wouldn't I try and get back?'".
Elliott will continue his rehab alongside fellow injured teammates Oscar Steene and Reef McInnes at the KGM Centre, while the first to four year Magpies will officially commence their 2027 AFL pre-season on Monday, November 23.
