Nathan Buckley and the Collingwood coaching staff will join thousands of Melbourne runners in the City2Sea on Sunday 17 November.

The Collingwood coaches will be aiming to raise awareness and funds for the Victorian Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service and supporters are encouraged to join them for the event.

The third annual Sunday Age City2Sea and sister event to City2Surf in Sydney, is presented by Westpac.

This year’s event will see the introduction of a 5km run starting on St Kilda Road and finishing on The Bay Trail.

The 14km course starts at the Arts Centre in the CBD, travels along St Kilda Road, around the Albert Park Grand Prix track and to a spectacular finish by the sea in St Kilda.

Elite runners, joggers and walkers from around Australia will be joined by many dressed in novelty themed costumes with live music along the route.

The City2Sea aims to raise much needed funds for charities including partner charity, Movember. Entries are strictly limited and will help raise more than $500,000.

Entries are still open, visit thecity2sea.com.au for more information.
