Social Sunday’s has come and gone once more, with the Magpie Army spurring the team on to a 61-point victory over Fremantle at the MCG.

“The support of the #socialPIES hashtag really got us over the line out there today,” Nathan Buckley said after the game (he didn’t really).

“We saw the GIFs and gags flooding the social media channels and knew this was our time to shine,” (once again, a fake quote).

Without wanting to burst Bucks’ #socialPIES bubble, this appears unlikely. Reason number one being the players are banned from using their phones from two hours before the first bounce until the final siren. While Mason Cox is probably clever enough to think of future tweets during the game, even he can’t check the newsfeed as the game is going.

Those of us who did get a chance to pour over each and every tweet have had an extremely tough time sorting through over 500+ posts and narrowing it down to the very best.

As previously communicated, our friends at American Tourister have generously provided the following prize-pack which will be sent out to the major prize-winner in the coming days:

- An American Tourister ‘High Rock’ suitcase (valued at $319),
- A copy of ‘Champions of Collingwood: The 125 Greatest Magpies’ by Michael Roberts and Glenn McFarlane,
- A limited edition Collingwood 1990 Premiership replica guernsey,
- A 2017 125th Anniversary winter jacket,
- A Black and White striped scarf

Thank you to everyone to joined the commentary. Below are the very best tweets we received during the game.
