Collingwood will participate in a joint training session with North Melbourne this Saturday at Arden Street Oval.

Magpies coach Steve Symonds says this is a great opportunity to see how the team is shaping up ahead of their round one clash against West Coast.

“We’ll be keeping a close eye on the chemistry between the group and are keen to see them in their roles,” Symonds told collingwoodfc.com.au.

“It’ll be exciting to see the changes we’ve made to our game style over the pre-season in action come Saturday.”

The session will be divided into six quarters with the Kangaroos' coaches to oversee the first two and then the Magpies' coaches to control the third and fourth.

The remaining two terms will consist of match play.

“It’ll be good to see a game roll out with little interference,” Symonds said.

The session will commence at 11am at Arden St, North Melbourne.
