Ebony O’Dea will make her long awaited AFLW debut when Collingwood takes on old-town rivals Carlton in round two this Sunday.

Having previously been a member of the GWS Giants’ squad last season, O’Dea was selected by the Pies at pick 89 in the 2019 AFLW Draft.

The midfielder also spent two seasons with SANFL club Norwood under new Pies coach Steve Symonds where she established herself as a tough on-baller.

Also securing spots in this week’s side are round one debutants Aishling Sheridan and Alana Porter who impressed against the Eagles.

Having made her return to the AFLW stage last weekend, Chloe Molloy will remain in the forward line in round two. Also starting on-field will be Erica Fowler on the half-back as well as Sarah Rowe in the midfield, while Sophie Casey and Maddie Shevlin will both start on the bench.

Magpie vice-captain, Bri Davey has been ruled out of the match having sustained an injury to her left shin in last Sunday’s game.

Eliza Hynes and Kristy Stratton have been named as emergencies.
