Since Collingwood launched its official twitter account last week, the response from supporters has been overwhelming.
Collingwood’s account has just ticked over 500 followers and if you are not one of them, you are missing out.
This is what has happened on Collingwood’s twitter account over the last week.
Monday 25 May: Photos of the boys recovering in the St Kilda Sea Baths were uploaded instantly to the account including quotes and pictures from Harry O’Brien speaking to the media.
Tuesday 26 May: Twitter followed Marty Clarke, Nathan Brown and Sharrod Wellingham on their school visit.
Wednesday 27 May: Pictures and news from Alan Didak and Heath Shaw's visit to Victoria Park.
Saturday 30 May: Scores from the VFL win on the weekend were uploaded via Twitter. The club’s account was even followed by a fan in Mexico!
Sunday 31 May: Twitter provided gameday updates including final teams as well as photos uploaded instantly from the rooms with the boys singing the song. It also provided instant comments from Mick Malthouse's post-match press conference.Monday 1 June: Twitter was at the Copeland Trophy reunion night and uploaded photos requested from its followers!
Simply go to twitter.com and create a new profile then search “Collingwood_FC” and click ‘follow’.
