Four changes have been made to the Collingwood side set to take on Richmond at the MCG on Friday night.
Shane O’Bree returns after he was a late withdrawal from the team that trumped Carlton by 24 points last Saturday, while another veteran midfielder, Paul Licuria, has also been recalled after one week on the sidelines.
Ruckman Chris Bryan and youngster Alan Toovey, who debuted in sensational circumstances against the Tigers back in round three, are the other two inclusions.
Unfortunately star forward Alan Didak will miss with a hip problem while Ryan Lonie’s groin injury means he has been ruled out.
Martin Clarke has been rested while Shannon Cox has been omitted.
The three emergencies are defender Shane Wakelin and young West Australians Brad Dick and Sharrod Wellingham.
19-year-old Wellingham has been promoted to the senior list from the rookie list with Chris Egan placed on the long-term injury list due to an ongoing knee problem.
Wellingham, who was taken with the 10th overall pick in the 2006 Rookie Draft, has enjoyed an extremely good season with Collingwood’s VFL affiliate Williamstown.
He is a quick, skilful midfielder who stands at 184 centimetres, and last year played under 18 football for Perth.
Egan, who managed one senior game this season (Round 6 v Adelaide) for a three-year career total of 25, injured his knee playing for Williamstown back in May, and a recent setback will see him miss the remainder of the 2007 season.
Meanwhile, Richmond has made one change to its team which lost to Geelong last week by 70 points, bringing in tall Adam Pattison for the omitted Cleve Hughes.
