The Collingwood Football Club would like to thank all its supporters for their phenomenal passion and commitment so far in 2010, with the club on track to break the all-time single-season attendance record for any club.

On Saturday afternoon at the MCG the club passed the one-million mark for attendance to all its matches in 2010. The all-time attendance record of 1,432,878, including finals, was set by the Magpies in 2007, but with four games plus September action to come, this record looks like being smashed.

The all-time single-season attendance record for the home-and-away season was set by Collingwood in 2008, and with MCG games against Geelong, Essendon, Adelaide and Hawthorn to come, the club is on track to surpass that mark.

By being the first club to break through the one-million mark in 2010, combined with the fact the club has set a new all-time membership record of 57,408 in 2010 and continues to be the most watched team on television, Collingwood remains the biggest and most supported football club in Australia, thanks to the amazing loyalty and dedication of Magpie supporters.
