Didak, who has missed the last five rounds with a hamstring injury, has successfully made it through training to be recalled this weekend. The 2006 All-Australian showed he was at his career-best earlier this season with three goals and 29 possessions in the side’s 53-point win over Melbourne.
Also returning from injury (knee), Thomas will play his seventh game this year after missing the last two weeks. The 21-year-old is averaging career-high numbers in disposals (17.3) and tackles (3.3) a game and will look to add another dimension into Collingwood’s forward line on Sunday afternoon.
Tyson Goldsack and Ryan Cook have both been omitted.
Travis Cloke (hamstring), Ben Johnson (leg), Anthony Rocca (knee) and Paul Medhurst (ankle) were not available this week but the club is hopeful they are not far off a return.
Port Adelaide's Nathan Krakouer (21) has returned to the side after playing the first eight games of the season averaging 21 disposals per game before missing last week's match with general soreness.
Midfielder David Rodan has also been added to the squad, while veteran midfielder Josh Carr has been omitted.
