Collingwood was part of three deals during the AFL exchange period which included the acquisition of three players headlined by the return of Chris Tarrant.
Gold Coast acquisition
The Gold Coast Football Club acquired Josh Fraser, who was uncontracted, to its team announced last week. In return Collingwood received a round three selection which was then traded to West Coast (see below).
Trade 1 (Collingwood and Gold Coast)
Collingwood traded its first overall selection - pick 25 - in the upcoming draft to the Gold Coast in exchange for pre-listed Suns players Andrew Krakouer and John Ceglar.
The Magpies also acquired third (currently 55), fifth (currently 78) and sixth (currently 95) round draft selections from the Gold Coast as part of the deal.

Trade 2 (Collingwood and Fremantle)
Collingwood received Chris Tarrant and a third-round NAB AFL Draft pick, No.44, while Fremantle receives a round two pick, No.43, and a round three pick, No.55.

Collingwood traded its compensation pick for losing Josh Fraser to Gold Coast in exchange for pick No.45 from West Coast.
Picks for the 2010 AFL Draft
The club is now placed with 10 picks in the 2010 AFL draft including 44, 45, 60, 77, 78, 94, 95, 111, 128 and 145.
Breakdown of picks in each round
The club has three picks in round three (44, 45 and 60) including the first two picks of the round (44 and 45).
The club closes round four with pick 77 and opens and closes the following two rounds. Picks 128 and 145 close out both rounds seven and eight.
