Taylor Adams and Darcy Moore have both been named in the 2020 All Australian team.

For both players, this is their first All Australian selection.

In the team of 22, Moore is selected as centre half-back while Adams is listed on the interchange bench.

As one of the Magpies’ most consistent performers, Adams has brought his game to another level in 2020.

As a tough on-baller, Adams has played 17 games this season collecting a total of 389 disposals and 220 kicks.

The Pies’ vice-captain has also stood up at different times throughout the season in the absence of Scott Pendlebury and Steele Sidebottom.

Darcy Moore’s All-Australian selection comes after an outstanding effort down back in 2020.

The prominent rebounding defender has run out for 16 games in the season so far collecting a total of 215 disposals, 104 spoils and 57 rebound 50’s.

Troubled by injury over the past two seasons, the 24-year-old has done a remarkable job having stepped up at times in the absence of the irreplaceable Jeremy Howe.

Moore has consistently offered great speed and athleticism no matter what position he is in on the field. His ability to standout when up forward but to then return to the backline as a defensive weapon is extraordinary.

The All Australian team is selected by a panel consisting of Gillon McLachlan (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Steve Hocking, Glen Jakovich, Chris Johnson, Cameron Ling, Matthew Richardson and Warren Tredrea, while the All Australian selectors, along with Kevin Sheehan, also choose the winner of the NAB AFL Rising Star Award.
