Jaimee Lambert has been named Collingwood’s VFLW Best and Fairest for the second consecutive season.

The midfielder was presented the top honour having tallied a massive 106 votes, followed by Brittany Bonnici (64 votes) and Brianna Davey (57 votes) at the club’s E.W Copeland Trophy at Crown Palladium on Friday night.

The award tops off an outstanding year for the 26-year-old who was also awarded the club’s AFLW Best and Fairest earlier this year.

Having made the move forward at times throughout the VFLW season, Lambert played a key role in the team having only missed three games this season while also appearing in all matches throughout the finals series.

Averaging 23 disposals and 15 kicks a game, Lambert went on to be named in the 2019 VFLW Team of the Year.

Her efforts in front of goal were also recognised having been crowned the Rohenna Young Medallist as the league’s leading goal kicker having booted 21 goals throughout the home and away season (a total of 29 including finals).

Lambert also impressed as one of the Pies’ best in its premiership victory over the Western Bulldogs having collected 28 disposals and securing two majors on the board.
