Collingwood will play eleven home games during the 2021 season, nine of those at the MCG and two at Marvel Stadium as the AFL today confirmed the home and away fixture.

The Magpies will kick off its 2021 campaign when it hosts the Western Bulldogs at the MCG on Friday, March 19.

The Pies will go on to host the GWS Giants on Saturday, April 10 (round four) and Essendon on Sunday, April 25 for the traditional ANZAC Day clash (round six), both at the MCG.

The Magpies are set to play back-to-back Thursday night matches meeting arch rivals Carlton in round two on Thursday, March 25 at the MCG and Brisbane at the Gabba in round three on April 1. 

The Pies will make a total of five interstate trips during the season – Brisbane (Round Three), West Coast (Round Five), Sydney (Round Nine), Adelaide (Round 12) and Port Adelaide (Round 19).

The AFL have also confirmed that Collingwood is set to play Port Adelaide, Brisbane Lions, West Coast, Carlton and Essendon twice throughout the season.

The game times for rounds 7 to 23 are yet to be confirmed to allow for a flexible response to the ongoing threat of COVID-19 interruptions.
