Beau Mccreery will officially pull on the black and white against the GWS Giants on Saturday night.

The 19-year-old was the medical substitute for round 3, but feels he is better for that experience and is well placed to run out for the Pies.

“Last week was a bit different, but it was good to get out there and sorta go through the process and now I know what to expected this week," Mccreery said after the captains run.

Mccreery was selected by the Pies with pick 44 in the 2020 NAB AFL Draft. During his time in the SANFL, he established himself as a consistent forward and was held goalless on only three occasions.

The product from the South Adelaide Football Club is best known for his speed, goal-sense and forward pressure.

Our substitute will be out of the four emergencies; Tyler Brown, Darcy Cameron, Levi Greenwood and Trey Ruscoe. This will be confirmed one hour before the game starts.

The non-playing squad will travel down the highway for a practice match against Geelong on Saturday morning.

Don't miss the action on Channel 7 and Fox Footy from 7.25pm (AEST).
