Collingwood forward Beau McCreery pulled up ginger from the round 10 clash against Port Adelaide, with scans revealing a low level calf strain. 

McCreery has been ruled out of the Geelong game and will look to be available against Adelaide the following week. 

Jamie Elliott is on track for a round 12 return, the 28-year-old will be put through full contact training throughout the week before freshening up for the trip to Adelaide.

Taylor Adams (knee) - Available for selection

  • Adams was cleared to play last week. Pulled up generally sore as one would after their return game and will be right to go for Saturday.

Callum Brown (shoulder) - Expected return: Test

  • Low grade AC joint issue from the Port Adelaide game. Improved since Sunday and will need to get through main training.  

Josh Thomas (ankle) - Expected return: Test

  • Rolled ankle during the first quarter on Sunday, proceeded to strap and play rest of game. Thomas will have to get through training on Thursday to be available for selection.

Mason Cox (larynx) - Expected return: 1-2 weeks

  • Bruised larynx from a training knock. Awaiting further specialist advice to determine exact return to play.

Jamie Elliott (lower leg) - Expected return: 1 week

  • Continues to tick the boxes ahead of a return. Elliott will fully training this week before freshening up for round 12 against Adelaide.

Levi Greenwood (concussion) - Expected return: TBA

  • Ongoing concussion symptoms. Currently taking part in low level conditioning and non-contact football training.

Jeremy Howe (hamstring) - Expected return: 8 weeks

  • No damage to hamstring itself. Scar tissue removed during surgery that will allow Howe to progress in training loads. Review with specialist on Friday will determine exact return to play, approximately looking at 8 weeks on the sidelines.

Beau McCreery (calf) - Expected return: 1 week

  • Pulled up sore from the round 10 clash against Port Adelaide. Scans revealed a low level calf strain and won't play against Geelong.

Reef McInnes (ankle) - Expected return: 7-9 weeks

  • Begun cross training and low level strength work in the gym. McInnes will be in the moon boot for a further two weeks before taking the same rehab program as Jamie Elliott.
