Collingwood ruckman Brodie Grundy was taken to Epworth Hospital on Saturday afternoon for precautionary scans after suffering a neck-related injury – a pinched nerve - and experiencing pain through his right shoulder and arm in the third term of the match against Geelong at the MCG.

The scans cleared Grundy of any major injury and he left hospital on Saturday evening. He will be assessed in coming days.
