Collingwood has made three changes for their primetime clash with Brisbane on Saturday night.

Midfielder Josh Daicos is a welcome addition to the line-up, who hasn't featured since round 16 due to a finger injury.

Daicos performed well in a second-tier scratch match over the weekend and is primed for the trip north.

Second-year draftee Trent Bianco has been upgraded from the medical substitute and Nathan Murphy returns after a positive performance in the VFL.

Jeremy Howe won't travel with the squad due to his wife that is due to give birth, while rising defender Isaac Quaynor has been struck down with glandular fever, which rules him out for the rest of the season.

Defender John Noble has been omitted.

Steele Sidebottom will captain the side against the Lions.
