Pies to face Blues in round one

Collingwood's AFLW side will go head-to-head with Carlton in round one

Collingwood's AFLW side will face arch-rivals Carlton in round one at Ikon Park on Sunday 9 January.

In previous years the two teams have opened the season for the league, in 2022 they will clash in a must-watch game on Carlton's home deck.

Co-captain Brianna Davey is set to line up against her old side, with the 26-year-old the first person to captain both teams across both the AFL and AFLW.

Pride Round is set to be played in round three, with Indigenous Round to follow in round eight of the 10-round season.
