With another comeback win by the Pies, it’s clear they are able to adjust to the high pressure.

After being down at quarter time and half time, the Pies came back swinging after half time scoring three goals to one.

Matilda Zander was on fire again, landing herself the player of the match with 24 disposals, five marks, ten clearances and five inside 50’s.

Elizabeth Jackson was also influential with 17 disposals and a goal. Sarah King was busy in the forward line ended with two goals.

“I was really proud of how the girls were able to come back and win against a tough side”, Chloe McMillian said.

“They dug deep when they needed to and stood up to the pressure”, McMillian said.

With one more game left in the home and away season, Collingwood will look to secure themselves a spot as they sit sixth on the ladder.

The round 14 match will be against Geelong this Saturday 28 May 2pm at AIA Centre. There will be free entry and it will be live streamed through vflw.tv.
