With two rounds to go in the Smithy's VFL season, the competition is heating up.

Currently sitting in fourth place, the Pies are in good position to cement themselves in finals.

With only an eight point lead at quarter time, the game started off very competitive.

Collingwood had a huge second quarter, kicking seven goals to zero.

Jack Madgen was on fire in the forward line, kicking four goals in the second quarter alone.

Sam Glover finished the day with four goals, Ollie Henry with three and Harvey Harrison on two.

With twelve individual goal scorers, it was truly a team effort on the day.

Campbell Hustwaite, Jack Madgen and Callum Brown were our major ball winners in an evenly contributed performance.

Fin Macrae was also dominant with 23 disposals and a goal.

With two matches to go, Collingwood will need to continue their winning streak to charge into finals.

In round 21, the Pies will take on the Swans in Sydney and will play before the AFL team.

The round 22 match will be against Carlton at Ikon Park.

With both Sydney and Carlton in the top eight, it will be a tough finish.
