In her fifth season at the Club, Allen finished the count with 84 votes having played all 10 games in the home-and-away season.

Three-time Club best and fairest winner Jaimee Lambert finished in second place (81 votes) while 2018 winner Chloe Molloy took out third place (71 votes).

Drafted to Collingwood with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 AFLW Draft, Allen made her AFLW debut in round one of the 2019 season.

Spending time in the backline as well as on the wing this season, Allen collected the most marks for the side (46) and finished in the top-five percentile across the Club for average disposals (14.2).

Earlier this month, the 22-year-old received her first selection in the All-Australian squad of 40 and was also named in the AFL Players Association’s 22Under22 side for a third occasion.

Collingwood AFLW Senior Coach Steve Symonds congratulated Allen on her achievement.

“This award is a huge credit and reflection of Jordy’s hard work, determination and efforts this season and is something she should be very proud of,” Symonds said.

“Having been hindered by injury in the early years of her career, this season Jordy has been able to perform at a whole new level and has showed outstanding growth in her game.

“Not only does she help our side offer an exciting brand of footy, but Jordy is also highly respected for her exceptional work ethic and ability to drive elite standards.

“In only the fourth year of her career, she has a bright future ahead of her and we’re excited to see her continue to grow in the years to come.”

Lambert – who celebrated her 50th AFLW game this season - led the team in kicks (125) and inside 50s (35).

Stepping into a new role in the midfield this season, Molloy had a total of 39 clearances and had the most score involvements for the side (42).

Rounding out the top five vote-getters was vice-captain Ruby Schleicher (64 votes) and fourth-year player Mikala Cann (51 votes).

In other awards on the night, cross-coder Emily Smith was named the Best First Year Player while member of the leadership group, Lauren Butler, was voted the Players’ Player for a second consecutive season.
