Nathan Murphy and Taylor Adams are two inclusions for Sunday afternoon’s clash against Adelaide – the final match of Round Seven, to be played from 4.40pm at Adelaide Oval.

Murphy returns from concussion protocols, after suffering a knock in the fourth quarter of Collingwood’s Round Five victory against St Kilda.

Also returning is experienced midfielder and vice-captain, Taylor Adams, who has been named in the team. Adams returns after serving a one-match suspension for rough conduct.

Scott Pendlebury will miss Sunday’s clash due to his eye injury while Trey Ruscoe has been omitted.

On Pendlebury’s injury, Collingwood Senior Coach Craig McRae said:

“He is not quite right at the moment, so we are just making a decision to look after him,” said McRae.

Young forward Harvey Harrison has been rewarded with a spot as an emergency as a result of his strong form at VFL level.

The four emergencies for the match will be Finlay Macrae, Will Kelly, Trey Ruscoe, and Harvey Harrison.

The substitute will be announced 60 minutes prior to the first bounce on Sunday afternoon.
