A message from President Barry Carp
Thank you for your continued support of the Collingwood Football Club throughout 2026.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 6:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 15 December 2026.
The AGM will be conducted as a hybrid meeting, allowing Voting Members to attend in person or participate via video link. A formal Notice of Meeting will be distributed to Members on Friday 20 November 2026, outlining the business of the meeting and providing full details on how to participate.
Board nominations and recommendations
Throughout the year, the Director Nominations Committee has assessed Board composition, skills, experience and future governance needs. The Committee – comprising independent members and Club Directors – has also interviewed existing Directors and individuals who have expressed interest in (or been identified as potential candidates for) future Board positions.
Following this process, the Committee recommended that Paul Licuria and Jodie Sizer be re-elected as Directors.
In considering its recommendation, the Committee recognised the importance of Board stability and continuity of experienced leadership as the Club progresses key strategic initiatives, including investments in the Melbourne Park precinct, the MCG and Victoria Park, to enhance the Member experience and drive on-field success across the Club’s elite programs.
Informed by the Board skills matrix, the Nominations Committee concluded that Paul and Jodie’s experience, expertise and leadership are invaluable to the Club at this stage of its development. Their continued presence on the Board will help maintain strategic momentum, guide these significant investments and advance the Club’s medium to long-term ambitions.
While both have served three terms, Collingwood’s Constitution permits Directors to serve one additional term of up to three years, subject to Board approval.
The Board has unanimously approved Paul and Jodie standing for election for a further term.
