The VFL have today announced an extended 30-player Team of the Year squad, with two Collingwood VFL players have been named, ahead of the 2025 VFL/W League Awards on Monday 15 September.
After leading the side to their first finals appearance since 2023, Collingwood VFL captain Sam Glover has made the list for a second year in a row.
After the defender missing the first game of 2025, Glover went on to average 17.9 disposals and 8.1 intercept possessions in 17 matches for the side in 2025 while also managing four goals across the season.
Joining Glover is VFL recruit and former Fremantle Docker Brady Grey, who came to the Pies’ VFL program after having won the 2024 WAFL Premiership with the Peel Thunder.
Grey, who played 16 matches in 2025, averaged 20.3 disposals and kicked five goals in his maiden season in the black and white.
The final 23-player Team of the Year will be announced on Monday 15 September at the 2025 VFL/W League Awards.
