Collingwood Senior Coach Craig McRae has tonight confirmed Scott Pendlebury is set to break the all-time VFL/AFL games record in the side’s Round 11 match against the West Coast Eagles (Waalitj Marawar) on Saturday 23 May at the MCG.

McRae confirmed the dual premiership player will be rested next week when the Pies take on the Sydney Swans at the SCG.

All going to plan, Pendlebury will play his 433rd AFL game against the Eagles, surpassing Kangaroos great Brent Harvey’s record to become the competition’s games record holder.
