Clever small forward Imogen Trengove has been named to make her AFLW debut on Saturday night when the Pies open their 2026 season against the Tigers.
Taken with Collingwood’s first selection at pick 8 in last year’s national draft, the South Australian has quickly impressed during her first pre-season with the Pies.
In the National Championships, Trengove averaged 25.6 disposals and 5.7 tackles in her three appearances for South Australia as she rotated between midfield and half forward.
In the SANFLW, Trengove played for Woodville-West Torrens where she impressed with her speed and endurance.
Trengove is one of six debutants already named for Saturday’s clash, with Charlotte Brewer, Mattea Breed, Dom Carbone, Ariana Hetherington and Jemma Rigoni having previously announced to make their debuts.
Collingwood’s full team to face Richmond will be released at 6:20pm AEST on Thursday.
