Former number one draft pick Ash Centra is among three inclusions for Collingwood's Round 5 AFLW clash this weekend.

The black and white fly north to take on the Gold Coast SUNS on Saturday and will welcome back Centra alongside Jemma Rigoni and Mattea Breed. 

Centra and Rigoni were both late outs from last week's game against Carlton with shin issues, while Breed has missed the past two matches due to appendicitis. 

The trio will replace Georgia Knight, Charlotte Brewer and Imogen Trengove who have all been omitted. 

The match is a significant one for myriad reasons, with it marking the 100th time the Pies have ran out for an AFLW clash.

It will also be a milestone match for Jordy Allen and Kalinda Howarth, who will celebrate their 75th and 50th games respectively.

Allen, the Club's vice-captain, was taken with pick 5 in the 2018 draft and has been one of the most reliable players in the team's history.

The defender won the Season 7 Club Best & Fairest and has risen the leadership ranks throughout her journey in the black and white to become one of the most senior players.

Howarth crossed over from this weekend's opponent in the SUNS at the end of 2023, brining an array of goal-kicking nous and talent with her.

Despite missing all of the 2024 season through injury, Howarth has been a strong contributor throughout her time in black and white and continues to build on her career.

The clash at People First Stadium will kick off at 2:35pm AEST, with the match to be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo from 2:30pm.
