Collingwood AFLW Captain Ruby Schleicher has been named to play the Cats on Saturday at Victoria Park.

Schleicher, who was a late out against Gold Coast due to hamstring awareness, passed her fitness test and will be a welcomed inclusion against Geelong.

Joining Schleicher is Irish winger Sarah Rowe, who has overcome a groin injury and will add an extra layer of speed to the Pies’ midfield.

Following from her 50th AFLW game last week against the SUNS, Kalinda Howarth will miss due to illness, while first-year Pie Mischa Barwin will miss the remainder of her debut season after sustaining an ACL injury at training on Thursday.

Charlotte Brewer, Liv Lewis and Amy Smith will serve as emergencies for the clash.

Saturday’s match against Geelong marks the start of Collingwood’s run of three games at their traditional home of Victoria Park.

By purchasing tickets to the Pies’ Round 6 clash with the Cats, fans can also redeem tickets to the Rounds 7 and 8 matches at Victoria Park for free.

Collingwood’s clash with Geelong will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and KAYO Sports from 12:30pm AEST on Saturday.
