* OK, let's get the stats we don't like so much out of the way first. So, it was the Eagles' first win against Collingwood at the 'G since 1995. The result also meant West Coast has won four of its past six games against the Pies. But that's enough of that. Here are a few statistical positives to come out of Sunday's game ...

* Jeremy Howe was in great touch, finishing the game with a team-high 11 marks. He has now taken the second-most marks in the AFL this season. Howe has 118 marks to his name, an average of 7.9 per game. The leader is West Coast skipper Shannon Hurn, who has taken 136 marks at an average of 8.5 per game.

* Brodie Grundy ended Sunday's contest with a game-high 30 hit-outs. He is now second in the AFL for hit-outs this season. However, Grundy's tally of 604, at an average of 37.8 per game, is quite a way behind the leader, Melbourne big man Max Gawn, who has racked up 742 hit-outs at an average of 46.4 per game.

* Grundy is third in the competition when it comes to AFL Fantasy points per game. He has earned 1877 points at an average of 117.3 per game. The leading AFL Fantasy scorer is star Hawthorn midfielder Tom Mitchell, who is averaging 125.8 per game.

* Tom Phillips' career-best season continues in the midfield, with the speedster tallying 27 disposals against the Eagles. Phillips is averaging 26.8 disposals per game this season, which is well up on his previous best of 21.1 per game in 2017. Phillips is second for disposals at Collingwood. No. 1 is Steele Sidebottom, who has 478 at 29.9 per game.
