It was a new-look Collingwood training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday, the first open session since the premiership season.

The new Magpie brigade included three rookies, selected in yesterday's rookie draft, with Tom Gordon, Declan Reilly and Jye Bolton taking part in their first hitout.

The playing group also featured six Pies taken in the national draft who were training in Melbourne while the group was in Arizona including Jonathon Ceglar, Daniel Farmer, Alex Fasolo, Paul Seedsman, Trent Stubbs and Kirk Ugle.

Returning Pie Chris Tarrant and former Tiger Andrew Krakouer completed the new cast at Collingwood.
