It’s not every day that a female Collingwood supporter turns down a request for coffee by skipper Nick Maxwell, but that’s exactly what Sienna Harper did when she was invited by the footballer on Tuesday morning.

“You used to be my boyfriend but now I have a boyfriend called Josh,” Sienna told Maxwell at the Make-A-Wish Foundation located on Swan Street in Richmond.

“We can’t go (and have coffee) because I have to go to the aquarium.”

Sienna was first introduced to the players earlier this year at the Wish Upon A Star Ball in Portland.  The Magpie duo presented Sienna with her wish to swim with dolphins in Queensland.  Sienna and her mother Megan will fulfill the wish later in the year.

“She never followed a football club until she met Nick and Nathan,” Megan told collingwoodfc.com.au on Tuesday.

“Since they met she can’t get enough of the Magpies.  She screams at the TV yelling at the opposition.”

The five-year-old was diagnosed in 2007 with a brain tumor and became associated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2008.  She trained up to Melbourne from Portland with her mother to spend the morning with the players and then to visit the aquarium.

“If you guys come with me to the aquarium everyone will ask you for autographs.

“It will be too busy.”

Collingwood has had a long standing friendship with the foundation and will continue to support Sienna and her family.
