Pendleton worked out in the Westpac Centre before she caught up with assistant coach Nathan Buckley and the leadership group.
The two champions met in Manchester earlier this year when the Magpie coach was invited to tour the world class cycling facilities.
The relationship was formed due to Pendleton’s Tasmanian boyfriend, who is a Collingwood supporter.
“It’s been a massive thrill to get down to the Westpac Centre and use the facilities,” Pendleton told Collingwoodfc.com.au.
“Bucks and I have a strong interest in high performance and it’s been great to see how it works with the club here in Melbourne.”?
Pendleton and her team leave Melbourne on Saturday to fly to Columbia where she will be competing in the Olympic trials next week.
