It's not a steal it's about the right price for a 30 year old injury prone player we got rid of because he was a bad influence. I don't know quite where he will fit into the picture.

I hope Presti still goes around again.

We have a lot of spots on the list after retirements, delistings & trading Fraser.

Tarrant may be a big bonus for us in 2011 but I wouldn't be putting any money on it. All in all it was a worthwhile punt at the price IMO.

Welcome home Taz. I couldn't be happier.

Is it just me or does he look even bigger (in the arms) then ever?

The best part about this was that Chris Tarrant never kicked a goal against Collingwood and now, never will.

Just watched his press conference on the club's website and the difference from Tazza now to when he was last with us is enormous. Speaks very well and definitely not media shy.

He does bring flexibility and experience to the side after we have lost a fair bit of it this year.

I'm excited about his next 2-3yrs.

A lot of you people have short memories. 5 times leading goal kicker, All-Australian, runner up in Copeland. He has re-invented himself as a near All Australian quality. Will be a great pick up for pies and help us towards more premiership glory.

He will find it very very hard to knock Reid or Brown out of the side... Maxwell is a lock... So let him fight... Depth provides healthy competition... Welcome back taz.

This is a clear reaction to the substitute rule. Mick will keep three midfielders as the interchange so they can keep up their rotations. The substitute player will be someone who can come on and replace a key position player in either the backs or forwards. Tarrant fits that role perfectly, as will Jack Anthony.
