Collingwood’s Head of High Performance Jarrod Wade has provided an injury and health update ahead of Collingwood’s Round 16 match against West Coast at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.

Brayden Maynard
Brayden Maynard is progressing well in his recovery from a plantar fascia rupture. He completed a full training load and intensity over the weekend. Maynard will need to complete a full training session on Thursday to be available for Saturday’s game against West Coast.

Billy Frampton
Billy Frampton experienced calf awareness during Collingwood’s Round 15 game against St Kilda. The defender played the game out at a high level, however scans revealed a moderate grade calf strain. Frampton is expected to be sidelined for four to five weeks.
Tew Jiath
Tew Jiath was involved in a heavy tackle in the second quarter of Saturday’s VFL game against Sandringham. Jiath was unable to take any further part in the game, with scans later confirming he had sustained a moderate grade quad strain. Jiath will be sidelined for four to six weeks.
Beau McCreery
Beau McCreery experienced hamstring awareness in the first quarter of Saturday’s game against St Kilda. Scans following the game confirmed he has sustained a mild hamstring strain. McCreery is expected to be sidelined for three weeks.

Jordan De Goey
Jordan De Goey is progressing well through his running program as he recovers from an Achilles issue. De Goey has increased his running loads and high-speed efforts and will look to integrate skills-based training into his program. A timeline on his return will be communicated in due course.
Ash Johnson
After the forward suffered a fracture to his left fibula during the pre-season, Ash Johnson has returned to full training, including match simulation and contact drills. Johnson is expected to be available for selection after completing two full weeks of training.
Lachie Schultz
Lachie Schultz is progressing well through his recovery from a hamstring injury. He will integrate into light skills work and high intensity training this week. Schultz is expected to be available in one to two weeks.
Harvey Harrison (ACL), Fin Macrae (shoulder) and Reef McInnes (ACL) are all progressing well with their individual rehab programs.
