Collingwood has completed a trade with Brisbane that will see Lily-Rose Williamson become a Lion.
In exchange for Williamson, pick 17 and a future second-round selection, Collingwood will receive pick 15, 29 and 47 in the upcoming 2025 AFLW Telstra Draft.
Williamson joined Collingwood’s AFLW side for the 2025 season as a replacement player, elevated from the Pies VFLW team.
The 21-year-old featured in the inaugural Rebel VFLW State Team this past April and previously played eight AFLW games for Essendon across three seasons.
Executive General Manager of Women’s Football Jess Burger thanked Williamson for her contribution to the program and wished her the best for the future.
“Lily-Rose has displayed great contributions to our VFLW and AFLW programs and we thank her for her dedication,” Burger said.
“As part of the trade that sees Lily arrive at Brisbane, we have strengthened our 2025 draft hand.
“We wish Lily-Rose every success as she embarks on the next stage of her playing career.”
Collingwood currently holds picks 5, 15, 26, 29, 41, 47 and 59 in the upcoming draft held on December 15.
